About Dr. Jan Zemplenyi - Cosmetic Surgeon - Facial Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Jan Zemplenyi is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery with specialty in Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He is the president and director of the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, P.S. - a facility dedicated to providing the highest level of care. Dr. Zemplenyi maintains privileges at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington.

He obtained an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree with high honors from the University of California at San Francisco. Upon his return to UCLA, he completed a six-year residency in otolaryngology/head & neck surgery followed by a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills.

Dr. Zemplenyi is Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology & Head/Neck Surgery. He served as the President of the Northwest Academy of Otolaryngology, Northwest Society of Cosmetic Surgery, and he serves on the Board of Trustees and Inter-specialty Advisory Council of Washington State Medical Association, King County Medical Society. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society, and a clinical instructor at the University of Washington. In order to keep up with the latest techniques, Dr. Zemplenyi frequently participates in  conferences and courses related to cosmetic surgery and facial plastic surgery held in various cities throughout the United States.
