Overview of Sleep Apnea & Nasal Surgical Procedures

During the seven years of training following medical school, Dr. Zemplenyi received post-graduate training both in facial plastic surgery and ENT / Head & Neck Surgery. He has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of many disorders of the head & neck and the upper respiratory and digestive tract.  He is uniquely trained to blend cosmetic nasal surgery (rhinoplasty) with treatments designed to improve nasal breathing and to improve function of the sinuses. Procedures for treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, as well as surgeries of certain tumors of the face and head and neck, are performed at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery and sometimes at Overlake Hospital.

Unless otherwise specified, medical insurance companies cover the procedures listed in this section as long as all of the stipulations by the particular plan are satisfied.
