37-year-old woman who never breast fed, with a 34A bra size, height 5’6”, weight 125 lbs. She wanted to enlarge her breasts to a C cup. 19- year-old woman with 34A bra size, height 5’8”, weight 135 lbs, who desired a “boob-job” but was concerned about heaviness of breasts during aerobic exercise such as running. She wished a very natural look. She underwent breast augmentation with 240cc saline round, moderate-profile saline implants, filled to 240cc on the right and to 260cc on the left to correct for mild breast volume asymmetry. 50-year old woman who breast-fed two children and who previously had a breast lift with removal of saline implants. She now desired breast reconstruction surgery. Her bra size was 34B, her height 5’4”, weight 130 lbs. Breast reconstruction involved capsulectomies and enlargement (augmentation) with 300cc silicone smooth, round medium-profile implants using the infra-mammary, under the breast fold, approach and sub-pectoral (under the chest muscle) placement as well as liposuction of fat in the axillary breast tail.

28-year-old woman with a 36A bra size who breast-fed one child, height 5’6”, weight 158 lbs. She wished to undergo lipocountoring (liposuction) of her abdomen along with correction of the atrophy in the outer upper quadrant related to the breast feeding. She wished only natural breast augmentation while rejecting use of an artificial implant. Total of 700cc of washed fat was transferred (350cc into each breast). She is seen two weeks following and at 18 months following a single transfer procedure. Note only moderate amount breast augmentation with improvement of the atrophy and lateral fullness. All natural breast augmentation patients need to accept the possibility of more than one session of fat transfer to achieve longstanding volume improvement.
